Looking out for Biodiversity

Level: Elementary/intermediate

Next time you are taking a walk through the woods or visiting a pond or march, encourage your child to notice how diverse the plants and animals are. Make a list of how many plants and animals they can identify. Bring along a nature book to help you out. Make a game out of it, a friendly competition between parents and kids. You will be amazed that, with a little practice, you will discover many creatures that you never noticed before.
